In the latest Vital Gas poll 79% of Gasheads have voted saying the Bristol Rovers board were wrong to ban Kevin Spencer from future home fixtures.

The other 21% backed the boards decision to ban lifelong fan Kevin Spencer from Rovers home games. Mr Spencer was handed a letter at half time during Rovers 3-1 home victory over Northampton informing him he was banned from all future home games with no reason given and when the headlines should have been about Rovers first home win, they were instead all about Rovers banning of Kevin Spencer.

The story has been in the media for over a week now with many fans venting their anger at the decision on the various forums around the web. On Radio Bristol on Saturday evening Bristol Rovers Chairman Nick Higgs said he has since offered an ‘Olive Branch’ to Kevin Spencer and later confirmed to The Bristol Post that the offer remains on the table. Kevin Spencer has since emailed the club with contact details as they were apparently unable to contact him. Its hoped that the matter can be resolved shortly and we can all get back to supporting our club.
