Vital Gas caught up with Hartlepool fan PooliePoolie ahead of The League One clash at the City Ground.

Which pubs would you recommend to our fans to use during our visit to you?
The Corner Flag Supporters Club welcomes away fans and the Jacksons Wharf is very friendly, the Corner Flag is located at the corner of the ground and the Wharf is on the marina, about 5 minutes away

Which pubs would you suggest we avoid for the duration of our visit?
I wouldn’t point out any specific places but if we’ve had a bad game i wouldn’t head down church street afterwards.

What is your ground like?
It’s a tidy little ground, the away stand does have some restricted views but the posts aren’t very wide so you shouldn’t miss any of the action.

What food do you serve at your ground? What is it like?
I tend to avoid the food but we do a huge hot dog which is very popular and the usual pies and stuff.

Is the ground easy to find?
The ground is right in the middle of the town, it’s about 5 minutes from the train station and well signposted.

Any suggestions of where the away fans can park?
Theres a small car park by the ground but that fills up quickly so i’d suggest parking on the marina car parks. Avoid ASDA and Morrisons as you might end up with a fine.

What are the admission prices for away fans?
£20 for Adults £10 for concessions.
