Leeds will Probably the biggest away game for Rovers this season, so Vital Rovers caught up with Leeds fan dazza71 and asked him a few questions.

Which pubs would you recommend to our fans to use during our visit to you?
The peacock is usually ok for away fans just don’t start trying to sing club songs or they will kick you out.

Which pubs would you suggest we avoid for the duration of our visit? Stay away from the city centre thats usually where all the hot heads hang out.

What food do you serve at your ground? What is it like?
Is your usual bulk standard football ground stuff meat and potato pies, coffee, tea, bovril and chocolate.

What is your ground like?
The ground is ok looking a bit dated especially the West Stand. Away fans are usually situated in the south East corner or South Stand depending on what alocation you ask for. If you are sat in the South East corner the upper tier can have some obstructive viewing areas.

Is the ground easy to find?
Come of M62 at Junction 28 and then follow signs to the ground, you will not be able to see the ground until you are almost upon it.

Any suggestions of where the away fans can park?
There are two large car parks and a number of small car parks around the ground, you can park in any of these. Don’t try to park on roads close to the ground its almost impossible to do so.

What are the admission prices for away fans?
Cannot help you regarding away fans I would have thought between £20 and £30.

How do you think you will fair this season?
It seems the vast majority of the squad will stay and if we can bring in a few players in key areas especially defence we should be in the mix come the end of the season. What we will have to remember is all clubs playing against Leeds will give that extra 20% effort and Forest have shown its not easy to go back up. After all the turmoil I just hope we have a chance of automatic or play offs come the end of the season.

How well do you think Bristol Rovers will do this season?
I think its important you hold onto Lambert and Walker up front. You have a good squad of youth and experience but I think your objective must be to survive next season and build from there. I don’t think you will go down so anything above fourth bottom. I will say 18th.

Who do you think are your key players this season?
If they stay all the current squad should be far too strong for this division especially Lewis,Thompson,Blake,Douglas and Flo. Its hard to say at the moment though because I expect a lot of coming and goings before August.

Finally Who do you think will win the league?
I don’t fancy either of the other teams relegated (Luton or Southend) Forest will only be play offs at best. I also follow Donny and if they can avoid injuries to key players they will be top six.
Champions will be Millwall they were the best team in the division after christmas last year.

Many Thanks to Dazza71 for his time.

Glad you like the information I gave you. I hope you have a succesfull season. I have a lot of admiration for your fans and thought they was fantastic in Cardiff for the JPT Final. To be 2-0 and still sing your hearts out for your club was brilliant.
