Vital Bristol Rovers has been in touch with sbrjack of Swansea City Vital Football and asked for her views on the coming season.

Which pubs would you recommend to our fans to use during our visit to you?
There are many pubs around the area but there are two that spring to mind are Morfa park and Frankie and bennys. The are both within 100 meters from the club shop and have seen both home and away fans drinking side by side. Its all good natured. Reports also suggest that the Globe pub is also a good place to drink. If you are in the city centre pre game there is a street called wine street with loads of pubs and bars.

Which pubs would you suggest we avoid for the duration of our visit?
The railway pub in Siloh road is reported to be one to avoid.

What food do you serve at your ground? What is it like?
General football ground/stadium fare , very expensive as you would imagine over a fiver for a drink , chips and a hot dog . Best bring your own to be honest the food isnt that great.

What is your ground like?
Brilliant but I have to say that lol. Its a nice place good seating lots of leg room unrestricted views from all seats , spacious concourse areas. Im sounding like a brochure for the place now .

Is the ground easy to find?
Indeed it is very well signposted .Public transport is good and if you come in by train you can see it on the way into Swansea.

Any suggestions of where the away fans can park?
If you park in the park and ride in Swansea Vale it will bring you to the stadium or if you are an disabled away supporter then there are up to 6 spaces aviadable for booking. There are loads of city centre car parks too and you can bus it to the stadium. Fares are low too.

What are the admission prices for away fans?
Away fans are located in the North stand and prices depend what classification ticket you can get the current prices are £15 for Adults , Over 65’s/Full time Students £10 under 16’s £8. If you are a disabled supporter you get a free career place too.

How do you think you will fair this season?
With the signings we have been making with Jason Scotland from St Johnston who has vast experience even playing in the world cup last year , Ferrie Bodde from Ado Den Haag who played against the likes of Klivert and Kalou on a regular basis. Then add to that the flair of our new Spanish players Mayol from Espanyol B and Rangel from Terrassa. There are also rumors we are going to sign Dorus De Vries from Dunfermline who played in the Scottish Premiership added the potential signing of Darryl Duffy from Hull and a new winger we will fare well this season. The Depth in our squad is top notch with even the likes of Lee Trundle and Alan Tate all battling for their places. A push for automatic promotion is not altogether unrealistic.

How well do you think Bristol Rovers will do this season?
Its the old adage promoted clubs can do well in the new leauge and if you invest well over the transfer market then anything is possible. Out of all the promoted teams i do think Rovers and Hartlepool could do better than Wallsal and Swindon. I have been impressed by Richard Walker his goals tally is impressive if he can score on a regular basis then mid table could be your eventual position come end of season.

Who do you think are your key players this season?
Leon Britton , Ferrie Bodde , Lee Trundle , Jason Scotland , Alan Tate , Marcos Painter and Dennis Lawrence for me. If these players play well then they can be devastating. The new signings in Bodde and Scotland have exellent records with their former clubs if this can be replicated with Swansea then it will be a very good season.

Finally Who do you think will win the league?
I would like to think Swansea we have the right Manager in Roberto Martinez to take us to that next level. Its going to be closer than in the previous two seasons. It will be between Forrest , Oldham , Southend and Swansea.

Many thanks sbrjack
