On loan defender Cian Bolger is set to be out for around three months.

The central defender has injured his posterior cruciate ligament in Rovers 2-2 draw against Aldershot on Saturday. Cian will return to his parent club Leicester City for his rehab and McGhee is hoping he will be able to return to Rovers before his loan spell finishes.

The news may mean McGhee will have to bring back Gary Kenneth sooner than first thought and may be forced to play him before he is fully fit. In the meantime McGhee will stick with Virgo and Parkes and has young defender Patrick Keary as back up.
