Sub Fabian Broghammer came to Rovers rescue to help earn Rovers first home point of the new campaign.

It all started very well for Rovers when striker David Clarkson put Rovers into the lead with a spectacular 30-yard strike after just 11 minutes. The lead was not to last long, Craig Reid levelled the scores when he lobbed Sam Walker in the Rovers goal. In the second half Aldershot took the lead when Alex Rodman was allowed space to lash an angled shot across Rovers goalkeeper Sam Walker and inside the far post from 12 yards out to put the Shots in front.

Aldershot goalkeeper Jamie Young made fine saves from Matt Harrold and sub Fabian Broghammer to keep Aldershot in front, but with the game drawing to an end Eliot Richards found Broghammer in the box who poked home from close range to earn Rovers a point.

Rovers are 23rd in League having played one less game. Next up is a tough trip away to Gillingham next Saturday.
