Clarke Extends Rovers Stay


Young midfielder Ollie Clarke has signed a contract extension with Bristol Rovers.

The 21 year old has signed a one year extension meaning Ollie will stay with Rovers until the summer of 2016. In the summer of 2011 he suffered a rupture to his anterior cruciate ligament on his first day back in training, leaving him unable to play for several months while he recovered from reconstructive surgery. After a slow start to 2013- 2014 season Clarke has pushed his way into a the first team with some impressive performances.

He has made 27 appearances since the middle of October. He becomes the second youngster to sign a new deal, yesterday Tom Lockyer also signed a new one year deal with the club.
