Bristol Rovers manager Darrell Clarke has admitted he plans to freshen things up when the Transfer window opens in January.

That means Rovers fans should expect to see players coming and going after Christmas. ‘I’ve got three lists ‘ revealed Clarke to TIB.

‘I have a Waitrose list, an Aldi list and a Poundland list.’

‘They [the board] say come to them with what I want, but it`s not as easy as that.

‘I’d much rather have a figure that I can use to spend but we`ve got to go to them, that`s not a problem, I`ll pass it on to the chairman – three lists.’

‘You only get two window to freshen things up and we need to decide if we are going to go for untried and untested players, which we’ve been successful at before,’
said Clarke.

Centre back Jonny Burn has already left the club and joined National League North side York City on a one month loan deal.
