John Ward handed a debut to new loan signing Will Packwood who arrived from Birmingham City on a one month loan, whilst Lee Brown missed the game through injury.

Rovers best chance fail to midfielder Ollie Clark in the opening minutes but his shot was well saved by the Wycombe keeper. On 25 minutes David Clarkson was sent off for catching Wycombe midfielder Josh Scowen with his arm. Rovers struggled to create any chances after the sending off.

Rovers were defending well though and were keeping out Wycombe Wanderers out, but with 8 minutes remaining Wycombe sub Max Kretzschmar who slotted home from close range after Steve Mildenhall had saved well. Rovers have not one in the last seven league games picking up just 3 points from a possible 21 and have now slipped down to 20th League Two.

Next up for Rovers is an away trip to Accrington Stanley on Tuesday night who are bottom and have not won a game yet!
