Clarkson To Miss The Rest Of The Season

Striker David Clarkson is to miss the rest of the season due to injury.

The former Bristol City striker is to have an operation on his ankle, a problem that has effected him all sesson. The 27 year old has made 24 starts for Rovers this season and has scored 7 goals. David Clarkson is Rovers current top goal scorer so far this season along with former loanee Tom Eaves.

Clarkson was signed in the summer of 2012 by Mark McGhee after being released by Championship side Bristol City.
