Cunnington Signs For Rovers

Bristol Rovers have signed Cambridge United striker Adam Cunnington.

The 6′ 4′ striker joins Rovers on a three month deal, meaning the striker will stay with Rovers until January with a view to making the deal permanent. The 26 year old scored 8 times in 28 appearances for Cambridge United last season, but has not scored in any of Cambridges opening games.

Its expected Cunnington will go straight into the starting line up to face Telford at The Memorial Stadium tomorrow.

He has also had a spell at Tamworth, where he scored 21 goals in 45 games during the 2012-13 season, putting him second in the league’s scoring charts that year.
