Former loan striker Dom Telford has today signed for League Two side Bury.

The 21-year old who spent last season on loan at Rovers signs for Bury on a free transfer, he was offered a contract by Stoke City but has opted on a move away. Telford only made one league start whilst on loan with Rovers but did make a further three starts in the Check a trade trophy where he had his most joy scoring two goals, he made a further 20 appearances from the bench and in total scored five times.

Many Gasheads were expecting to see Telford return to The Gas for this season and was the striker on a lot of peoples lips after Ellis Harrison departed for Ipswich Town.  He was used a lot in the Development Squad and was on the scoresheet a number of times, below is Telford in action for the Development scoring a brace against Plymouth.
