Striker Rory Gaffney has agreed to move to National League newcomers Salford City FC for an undisclosed fee.

Gaffney scored nine times in the 2016- 2017 season but found first team football hard to come by in his last season with The Gas, he scored seven times in his last season with Rovers but most of his appearances were from the bench.

Gaffney joins Salford who is co-owned by former Manchester United players Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt since 2014 has signed a three contract with the National League side.
