Gas Defeated Again

Rovers were betean for the second game in a row and the chance of reaching that elusive play off spot is slipping away fast.

It was a controversial 65th minute penalty scored by Steve Basham that gave Oxford United a 1-0 win. Rovers them selves had three penalty apeals turned down by a very fussy ref. The gas was cheered on by over 2,000 loyal fans, but they could not help the gas raise there game in which was a dissapointing display from the pirates.

Paul Trollope
‘If I’m honest, then overall as a performance we were very disappointing tonight,’ Paul told bristolrovers.co.uk, ‘We feel we have gone away from the game with exactly what we deserved.’
