Rovers welcomed back striker Matt Harrold back on to the bench after 7 and a half months out due to injury.

Manager John Ward gave a start to loan striker Tom Hitchcock and it was the Quuens Park Rangers striker that put Rovers 1-0 up. Fabian Broghammer lifted the ball over the defence and Hitchcock lifted the ball over the on rushing Poke to put Rovers one up. Rovers were awarded a penalty at the start of the second half after Tom Hitchcock was fouled in the area, but Lee Browns spot kick was saved by Poke.

Elliot Benyon scored for Torquay to level before Jarvis headed past his own keeper to put Rovers in front again. Jarvis made up for his own goal to make it 2-2 and then Benyon fired Torquay in front to make it 3-2. John Ward then introduced striker Matt Harrold to the delight of the traveling Gasheads who gave Harrold a great reception and it was Harrold who head home to draw the scores level in injury time.

Rovers ended the season in 14th in League Two on 60 points.
