Hughes On Target But Rovers Lose

Jeff Hughes scored his first goal in a Rovers shirt in this afternoons defeat against Danish side FC Copenhagen.

Striker Rickie Lambert missed the game due to injury and Chris Lines started on the right instead of David Pipe. Rovers went in at half time one up, good link up play between Jacobson and Darryl Duffy saw the former Swansea striker square the ball across goal where Hughes crashed the ball home.

The second half saw FC Copenhagen score three second half goals to put the home side 3-1 up. Sean Rigg did manage to pull one back in the closing minutes of the game to make the final score 3-2.
