Ince Closing In On Rovers Job

Vital Gas understand that Paul Ince is close to agreeing a deal to become the new Manager of Bristol Rovers.

The former Blackburn Rovers could be in place before Saturdays clash against Crawley Town. As a player he won numerous honours with Manchester United, became the first black player to captain the England team.

He has had spells as manager at Premiership side Blackburn Rovers, Notts County, MK Dons and Macclesfield Town. Bristol Rovers Chairman Nick Higgs is thought to be returning to Bristol on Friday.
