It’s one we have been chasing all summer after the loss of Lee Brown to Portsmouth, but after weeks of rumours left back Triq Holmes-

Dennis has today agreed to move to Bristol Rovers.

The 22-year-old has signed from Premier League side Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee. Tariq was signed from Charlton Athletic in 2016 and made 15 appearances for Huddersfield as they achieved promotion to the Premier League. He spent most of last season out on loan in League One with Portsmouth but picked up an injury on the opening day of the season which kept him sidelined.

Before joining Huddersfield he spent time on loan with Oxford, Plymouth and Oldham making over 40 appearances between the three sides. Holmes- Dennis has also represented England at Uner 18s level. He will fight it out with the only other recognised left back at the club Micheal Kelly who has played that role in Rovers first team friendlies so far.

Tareiq has travelled to Holland with the rest of the squad to take part in this weeks training camp.
