Mananger Mark McGhee left Underhill pleased with the point that his side picked up during the 1-1 draw.

Rovers went 1-0 down early in the first half but a Matt Harrold headed home Matt Gills corner to draw level. “I think it was a good point, and it gives us something to start with.

“We haven`t been beaten, and we haven`t won, and that is a little bit disappointing as we were hoping for more than one point from our opening two games.

“However I think there was a lot more tonight that was better. Our shape looked better and we were still disappointed because we expected Garry Kenneth to start but he hurt his calf in the warm up and we had to change things.

“That was a shame because we had planned to play with Garry in the centre of defence and Adam Virgo at right back and Michael Smith out wide on the right.

“Eliot Richards got his chance because of that and he took it. He was excellent in a team performance.”
McGhee said to the official.

Rovers could have taken all three points, but Barnet keeper Liam O`Brien was in fine form to earn Barnet a point.
