Midfielder Signs

Bristol Rovers have completed the signing of John Joe O’Toole on loan.

The 24 year old will go straight in to the squad for tomorrow’s clash with Plymouth Argyle. O’Toole has represented Republic Of Ireland fives times at Under 21 level. He has experience at Champoinship level playing for Sheffield United, Watford and has also played over 50!times for Colchester United. The 6’1″ midfielder has been involved in most of colchesters games coming on as a sub.

O’Toole will stay with Rovers initially for one month. This is Wards second signing, Striker Tom Hitchcock signed from QPR on loan yesterday.
