Bristol Rovers last night lost against League One side 2-1 at The Memorial Stadium.

New signing Daniel Leadbitter was handed his first start since signing for Rovers. Rovers played a back three of Tom Parkes, Tom Lockyer and Mark McChrystal who captained the side.

Rovers did take the lead through striker Matty Taylor who slotted home from six yards out, but two goals early in the second half was enough for the League One side to take the victory.

Was a promising performance from Rovers though who did hit the woodwork twice through Sinclair and sub White.

Next up for rovers is the first game of the season at home to Grimsby Town next Saturday.
