The new owners of Bristol Rovers were at The Memorial Stadium to see Rovers come from behind and pick up all three points against Morecambe.

It was the start the all the Gasheads wanted when after just 12 minutes defender Tom Parkes was adjudged to handle in the box and Jamie Devitt stepped up and fired home. Rovers were struggling to get into the game and on 32 minutes Darrell Clarke took off James Clarke for Billy Bodin and switched to a 4-4-2 formation after starting with a 3-5-2, but it wasnt until the second half that Rovers started to pick up.

Keeper Mildenhall had to be on hand to save well from Kevin Ellisson, before Rovers really started to put pressure on the Morecambe back line. Gafney saw his header saved, but just moments later he was on hand to fire home to make it 1-1. Rovers kept the pressure up, Leadbitter crossed in from the right which caused panic in the Morecambe defence and the ball fail to Billy Bodin who headed home. Morecambe were down to 10 men after Flemming tugged Sinclair to the ground by his hair.

Rovers moved up to 6th and back into the play off places. Next up for Rovers is an away trip to Wycombe on Saturday.
