Ahead of Saturdays game against Huddersfield Vital Gas spoke to RealGiantTerrier.

What would you say your current form has been like?
Inconsistent and not very good, our last 6 games have been LLWLLW, obviously you’d love that pattern to continue, but we expect more to be honest

Which players in your opinion will be the biggest threat to the Gas?
Two golden oldies up front in the legend that is Andy Booth and top scorer Luke Beckett, they may be into there 30something days but they can be lively and they no how to find the net, also watch out for the wingers Chris Brandon and Malvin Kamara, when they’re good they’re GOOD, when they’re bad they’re BAD

Do you have any key players that will be missing from the game? Umpteen mate, we’re down to the bare bones, a name you may be familar with in Phil Jevons is out, Andy Holdsworth has proved a big player for us this season but hes doubtful after a knock on tuesday night, Holdsworth in particular was a massive player for us when we beat Birmingham 2-1

What were your expectations at the beginning of the season, are these going to be achieved or have you changed your expectations? Everyone including the chairman said play off place at least, we had a great season in 05/06 where we finished 4th, but we have failed to carry on with that and are turning into a mid table mediocrity team, which is unnacceptable. many believe it has been the cup run only that has saved Andy Ritchies job. we want to at least finish in the top half now, play offs are out of touch now i think

Any new signings in recent weeks?
Most recent signing has been Rob Page (CB) but he came in january and has been one of the signings of the season, rock solid. Ritchie has been blabbering on about a loan striker hes going to bring in, has anyone arrived? nope. although in fairness to him we have been turned down by a few players like Izale Mccleod, Craig Beattie and Shefki Kuqi

What are your strengths/weaknesses?

Our centre backs down tend to let us down very often, but its a different story with the full backs, another golden oldie Frank Sinclair hasnt been in the best of form recently, and Robbie Williams was so poor he got dropped from the team altogether, but apparently hes ‘injured’. also i constantly hear people moan at the galpharm ‘we just haven’t got a midfield’ and i can hardly disagree

Finally what is your score prediction for the game?
I’d take a point, 1-1 i think, as i’ve said we’re down to the bare bones with injuries, but i’m sure you will agree with me when i say you’re not in the best of form. we beat brighton on tuesday and played ok, repeat that performance against you then i can see a stalemate, brighton were poor, although it is noticable that we have only drawn 1 out of our last 17 games, also its been about 49 games since our last 0-0

any time =D. btw i think either you or me (probably me) has made an error there. on the strengths/weaknesses question the opening bit says our centre backs tend to let us down very often, its meant to say our centre back DONT tend to let us down very often. Nathan Clarke and Rob Page, quite solid, especially in the air
