Oxford Knock Back Rovers Second Constable Bid

Oxford United have rejected a second offer from Bristol Rovers for striker James Constable.

Rovers improved offer is believed to be around £180,000 for the 27 year old, but Oxford Chairman Kelvin Thomas has said the offer was ‘to small’. I’ts thought Oxford are holding out for close to the £225,000 that Swindon had accepted last season.

Its not sure if Rovers will return with a third offer for the striker or turn their attentions to another target.
