Parkes Wins Award

Bristol Rovers defender Tom Parkes has been voted League Two Player Of The Month.

The centre back beat of competition from AFC Wimbledon’s Paul McCallum and Northampton’s Chris Hackett. Parkes has been in impressive form in recent weeks and has been named captain by Manager John Ward. The former Leicester City defender has built up a solid partnership at the centre of the Rovers defence along side Mark McChrystal.

Manager John Ward missed out on Manager Of The month, the award went to Gillingham’s Martin Allen instead.
