Plymouth Sack Fletcher After Rovers Defeat

Plymouth Argyle have sacked Manager Carl Fletcher after today’s defeat against Bristol Rovers.

Rovers 2-1 win means Rovers close the gab on Plymouth to just two points. New Rovers Manager Ward was about to take a Director Of Football role with Plymouth before a last minute offer from Rovers changed Wards mind. The 32 year old has been in charge at Plymouth for the last 16 months after taking over from the sacked Peter Reid.

Plymouth have won only once in League two out of their last thirteen games and has seen them slip down the league table.
