The annual Bristol Rovers Open Day date has been set.
The Open Day is popular amongst Gasheads and always has a great turn out. This years event will take place on Sunday 22nd July, the gates will open at 10-00am and close again at 4-00pm.
There will be a first team open training session between 11:30-12:15 and after that Gasheads will have the chance to get pictures and autographs with the players and also take part in activities against the players including penalties against first-team keepers Adam Smith and Sam Slocombe.
The newly built club shop will be open for the first time and the new kit will be on show for us all to see. Admission is free for all.
Rovers development squad had their first game of the season on the weekend with the Under 23’s coming out on top against Cheddar. Two unnamed trialists scored for Rovers as they ran out 2-0 winners.
The U18’s are in pre-season action this evening (9th July).
The Rovers Academy side will face Hardwicke A.F.C at Locklease Sports Centre on Monday evening, kick-off time 7pm. Entry is free of charge for supporters.
