Bristol Rovers secured another three points, continuing their impressive rin under new manager Mark McGhee.

McGhee made several changes to his side, new signing Tom Parkes and Jim Paterson both started. Matt Harrold and Joe Anyinsah return from injury to make the starting line up and Scott McGleish also started in place of the suspended Chris Zebroski.

A goalless first half saw both team hit the post, Phil Jevons for Morecambe and Scott McGleish for Bristol Rovers. The second half saw Rovers take the lead through Lee Brown who tapped in Eliot Richards cross. On 65 minutes Matt Harrold had to go off injured and new loan signing Matthew Lund took the field and it was Lund who won the penalty after a good run. Scott Mcgleish smashed home from the spot.

Kevin Ellison pulled a goal back for Morecambe, but Rovers hung on to secure all three points, making it three wins in a row. Rovers ate now in 15th place in League Two and face a tough trip away to Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday night.
