Bristol Rovers sank to defeat against lowly boston United. Boston scored two goals in the first nine minutes to leave Rovers facing a up hill battle to try ang get anything from the game.

On loan Watford striker Albert Jarrett slotted home a third minute penalty, after Sam Oji handled in the area. Six minutes later Jarrett scored his second of the game, curling a 20 yard shot past Steve Phillips.

Rovers did come close to scoring before Boston got there second, Craig Disley head against the bar. Joe Jacobson almost marked his debut wth a goal, but the home keeper made a good save.

Trollope rang the changes at half time as he was clearly not happy with the first haf perfomance. Andy Sandell came on for Jacobson and Richard Walker was replaced by Lewis Haldane.

50 minutes in and Boston could have sealed the game but Broughton saw his shot clip the post. Chris Lines game came to an end when the midfielder got injured in the 65th minute, he was replaced by Sean Rigg.

Rovers did get a goal back on 68 minutes, when Lewis haldane stabbed home Chis Curruthers low cross.

The result realistically ended any hope of Rovers making the play offs.
