Bristol Rovers have today had bids for Peterborough United striker Luke James and Tom Nichols.

Luke James spent last season on loan with Rovers but failed to find to find the back of net. He played a bit part during the first half of the season but was a regular in the second half after Matty Taylor left.

Nichols has only been with Peterborough for just over a season after signing from Exeter City. Last season he made 51 appearances and scored 13 times, he also weighed in with six assists. The 23 year old was at Exeter City for five seasons and in his last full season at Exeter his scored 15 times in 39 appearances.
