Bristol Rovers Manager John Ward recalled midfielder John Joe O’Toole and on loan defender Will Packwood back in to the starting line up for the Visit of Bury.

Rovers got off the a great start being gifted a fourth-minute lead when Shaun Beeley mistimed his tackle on Eliot Richards to concede a penalty in which John-Joe O’Toole fired home. Bury should have drawn level soon after but Bury striker Shaun Harrad some how but the ball over from just yards out.

Bury did draw level on 36 minutes when Rovers side failed to clear a Beeley cross from the right and Danny Hylton fired home from close range. Both sides had chances to seal all three points, Harrold and Beardsley went close for Rovers and Harrad hit the cross bar for Bury.

Rovers sit in 20th in League Two and nextface York City away on Tuesday in a F.A cup first Round replay.
