Bristol Rovers are today being linked with Scottish striker Marc McNulty who has just been told by Sheffield United that he will not get a new contract with the promoted club.

McNulty spent time out on loan at Bradford where he scored once, making six starts with a further ten appearances from the bench. He also appeared for his parent club Sheffield United but only started once with three more appearances from the bench.

He enjoyed a succesful loan spell with Portsmouth back in the 2015/2016 season scoring twelve times in 25 starts for the League Two side. Portsmouth are also keen on securing the signature of the 24 year old Scot. Scottish clubs Hearts and Hibs are also said to be interested in McNulty. He started of his career in Scotland with Livingstone making over 80 appearances scoring 45 goals.
