Rovers Lose Away To Burton

Bristol Rovers were defeated yesterday at Burton despite taking the Lead.

Paul Buckle names an unchanged side to the one that beat Rotherham 5-2 last week. Rovers took the lead on 14 minutes when Matt Harrold headed home Craig Stanleys free kick. Despite dominating the early stages Rovers could not grab a second. As the game went on Burton started to get back into the game and equalized on 27 minutes through Cleveland Taylor’s low shot.

Just 8 minutes later Burton took the lead through Billy Kee and sealed the three points for Burton. Next up for Rovers is a home game against Port Vale on Tuesday night. Rovers remain in 14th in League Two after the latest defeat.
