Bristol Rovers had a failed attempt to sign Hearts defender Darren Barr.
The 26 year old who can play as a centre back or a full back has only played six this season for Scottish Premiership side Hearts and missed a massive part of last season due to injury. Before his move to Hearts he was captain of Falkirk and made over 150 appearances, he also represented Scotland at International level.
Barr has 18 months left on his current contract with Hearts after signing a three year deal in the summer of 2010.
