Tom Lockyer, Oliver Norburn and dave Clarkson all game in to replace Will Packwood who was not allowed to play by parent club Birmingham, Alefe Santos who was injured and Matt Harrold who took a place on the bench.

Rovers took the lead on 16 minutes when John-Joe O’Toole tapped home after Lee Brown strike came back off the post. Oliver Norburn made it 2-0 on the stroke of half time with a low drive. Five minutes into the second half Rovers were 3-0 up, striker Chris Beardsley forced the ball home.
