Mark McGhees Bristol Rovers slipped into the relegation after losing 1-0 at home to Dagenham & Redbridge.

Rovers have now only won once in their last ten games and are now bottom of the form table in League Two. Lewington in the Dagenham & Redbridge did have a good game in goal saving from Oli Norburn 15 minutes in. Dagenham took the lead ust 4 minutes later Sam Williams sent a right-foot volley past home keeper Sam Walker from 12 yards out. Clarkson should have drawn Rovers level but found Lewington instead the back of the net.

In the second half, Lewington kept out shots from Tom Eaves and Joe Anyinsah to keep The Daggers lead. Full time was greeted with loud jeers from Gasheads. Pressure is growing on not just McGhee but also the board of Bristol Rovers as the thought of Rovers losing their League status is a real possibility.

Next up for Rovers is a trip away to York City next Saturday.
