Bristol Rovers have been drawn against League Two side Crawley Town in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

The tie will take place week commencing Monday 13th August 2018 at The Memorial Stadium. The First Round Draw of the Carabao Cup took place this earlier today in Vietnam, with this season’s competition featuring a number of rule changes, including the removal of both the ABBA penalty system and no extra time.

The last time the two clubs met was back in November 2016 in the F.A Cup, after a 1-1 draw Rovers then won the replay 4-2 at The Memorial Stadium.

Crawley is managed by former Liverpool and Leeds player Harry Kewell.

In other fixture news Rovers announced their first home preseason clash, Rovers will take on Exeter City at The Memorial Stadium on Saturday 28th July – kick-off 3 pm.  Exeter reached the League Two play-off final last season but lost to Coventry City.
