Defender Micheal Smith has today completed his move to League One side Peterborough.
The right back joins Peterborough on a three year deal for a fee believed to be around £200, 000 plus add ons. The 25 year old was signed from Ballymena United by former manager Paul Buckle back in January 2011 and went on to be a fans favourite.
He made over 100 appearances for Rovers and scored twice. He was offered a new deal by Rovers after relegation in a bid to keep him at the club, but Smith later handed in a transfer request.
Good luck Smudger, you deserve it.
