Ryan Sweeney has today rejoined Bristol Rovers.
The centre back who spent the end of last season on loan has been a target for manager Darrell Clarke all summer and today he has finally got his man. The 20 year old has joined on a season long loan along with Stoke City striker Dominic Telford.
Sweeney became an instant hit with fans for his solid displays at the back a long side Tom Lockyer. His performances were recognised by President`s Club members who voted him as their Young Player of the Year. Stoke have the option to recall Sweeney in January if they wish to do so.
