Thrash Wont Give Up


TRASHorfield has decided to seek permission to appeal against a High Court ruling from last week meaing Bristol Rovers hopes of going ahead with their new stadium have been stalled again once again.

Last week a judge throw out an application by Thrash which claimed that councillors had been misled them before giving planning permission for a Sainsbury`s supermarket on the Memorial Stadium. The judge now has seven days to decide to give permission for the appeal to go ahead to a full hearing. Rovers plan to build a 21,000 all seater stadium part funded by the sell of The Memorial Stadium.
