Trollope Wants More

Trolls was unhappy with Rovers performance against Torquay United last week after we were held to a 1-1 draw. Paul has made it clear to the squad that lessons must be learned and is confident that things will improve when we play Superliga side FC Copenhagen. This will be a tough test against a very accomplished side and will really push the players ability.

Trollope spoke to BEP
“We think the Copenhagen game will be the hardest. Their first team played last Sunday and are playing again this Sunday, but we have been assured that everybody outside their starting XI will feature.’

“There will probably be some international players involved and we will be up against some very good professionals.’

Trolls also commented on Winger Hughes groin problem

“Jeff was rested over the weekend because his groin felt a bit tight after the Weymouth game so we didn’t want to take a risk with him.’

‘He is feeling a lot better and might have some action in the first game, although we are not going to rush him,” said Trollope.’

Ryan Green will also be back, with a definite inclusion on the Saturday and possibly the Thursday depending on how things work out.
