Gas Go Marching In up next

1) Can you remember your first Rovers game?
Cheltenham at home in 2009 i always supported Rovers growing up but was never able to get to game. We were 2-1 down with about 5 minutes to go before Duffy and then Ricky Lambert scored within quick succession of each other to win 3-2.

2)Best moment of the season?
Has to be Lee Brown’s winner doesn’t it? Other than that possibly turning the Cambirdge game around from 1-0 to 2-1. That was a real catalyst for our season I felt.

3)Worst moment of the season?
Losing to Pompey away was the most disappointing. Chesham was the most embarrassing. Also the York game, even though we won 4-1 I came away feeling gutted.

4)Which player/players if any would happily drive to a new club?
Tough one as we have no real shockers these days. Quality wise probably Puddy. Ellis tests my patients at times though and Gosling is too inconsistent.

5)Which players realistically would you like to see Rovers sign in the summer?
I would like us to sign players like Lyle Taylor from AFC Wimbledon, Doug Loft from Gillingham, Tafazolli from Mansfield.

6)Opinion on the new board?
Impressed so far with potential wealth, also Wael seems to have made a lot of effort with attending games and making himelf popular amongst fans. Time will tell for definite though.

7)Opinion on Darrell Clarke?
Legend. Pulled this club up from it’s knees and has been the main catalyst for getting us back into league one from a dire team who were relegated to non league.

8)What did you make of Supporters Club Chairman Jim Chappells end of season statement?
Out of the blue and unnecessary

9)Who was your first footballing hero?
David Beckham and Sir Alex Ferguson. Rovers would be Penrice/Roberts.

10)Do you have a second team? If so what is your reason?
Man Utd. Just supported them since growing up but died out over time and love for Rovers has grew stronger.

11)What do you expect from Rovers in their first season back in League One?
Depends on the summer but under DC and with our new owners I am optimistic of pushing for the playoffs. I think we can be mid table at worst.

12)And Finally one person you could take on a dinner date?
Darrell Clarke.
