Bristol Rovers have today announced that Alan Walsh has returned to the club.

Walsh returns to Rovers as Under 18’s coach, he had a spell with Rovers as Community Officer between 1996 – 2000 when he left to move to Ashton Gate. As well as making over 250 appearances for Bristol City he also coached the U-16`s and U-17`s before going on to look after the U-19`s and then moved up to become reserve team coach. He left City in October last year and has been out of work since.

Walsh has already watched the Under 18’s in action against Plymouth Argyle last Saturday. The 55 year old will start his new post as of today.
