Bristol Rovers manager John Ward has agreed a new deal to stay on as Manager.

The 62 year old has agreed a new one year rolling deal to remain as manager. Ward has been back at Rovers since December and has moved Rovers off the bottom of League Two and up to the top half of the table.

Ward is in his second spell with Rovers after replacing the sacked Mark McGhee, his first spell was between 1993-1996 and lead the club to the Southern Final of the Auto Windscreen Shield and the Division Two play-off final. He has also had a spell as Bristol City manager.
