New Bristol Rovers striker Jamie White has said he will score goals.

White signed yesterday from Salisbury after the striker paid up the remainder of his contract. The 24 year old was at Salisbury whilst Clarke was Manager and has scored goals at this level, he found the back of the net 11 times in 29 appearances although nearly half the appearances was from the bench after White spent time on the sideline due to injury.

When asked what Gasheads can expect White replied ‘Goals, Basically anything in the box it will be in the back of the net. Daz knows me very well and I’m sure he’ll get the best out of me,’ added White.

‘I’m looking forward to the challenge. Bristol Rovers is a massive club and the relegation is something that can be easily fixed. If we have a good season we should be back up there.

‘Conference football is a bit different to League Two. It’s a lot more full-on, but again if we get the ball rolling and get the right results we will be flying.’
