Will The Stadium Happen?

It was announced today bu the Bristol Post that Bristol Rovers club has issued a writ in a row over delivery hours at the proposed store.

Its also came to light that Sainsbury’s told Bristol Rovers in Febuary around the same time that Geoff Dunford tried to stand down that they intend on pulling out of the deal after the supermarket tried to get the hours for late deliveries extend but the council refused, saying it would have a detrimental impact on nearby residents.

Just on Saturday Geoff Twentyman asked Nick Higgs if Rovers will still be moving to The new UWE Stadium in which Higgs replied ‘As far as we are aware at this moment in time there is no reason why we shouldn’t be moving to UWE’

Questions have to also be raised as to how long the UWE will be willing to wait to get the project started.
