Anthony: Cams Is A Breath Of Fresh Air

Bristol Rovers defender Byron Anthony has praised new Manager Stuart Campbell.

Anthony has been impressed with Campbell since he took over from the sacked Dave Penney. ‘Cams has come in, he’s been like a breath of fresh air and all the lads have reacted superbly.

‘Everyone is looking forward to the next game now and believing we can get three points, which maybe wasn’t the case in the past. Our confidence has come back and the supporters have been even more fantastic. They got behind us magnificently on Friday.

‘Yeovil are still fighting as well, but we got a good result there on our last visit. We’ve had two wins out of four with a draw in between, so we can go there full of confidence.’

Campbell has won twice, drawn once and lost a narrow game 1-0 to Huddersfield since he took charge of Rovers.
