Bristol Rovers were again defeated, this time away to struggler’s Barnet.

Buckle gave debuts to his two new loan signings defender Aaron Downes and keeper Michael Poke. Cian Bolger, Lee Sawyer and Aaron Downes had half chances to put Rovers ahead before half-time. Once again it was a lack of concentration that cost Rovers. Izale McLeod lobbed Michael Poke to open the scoring for Barnet before Clovis Kamdjo sidefooted late on to seal Barnet’s victory.

Rovers are now in 19th place just 5 points above the drop zone. Once again manager Paul Buckle blamed everything but himself for another poor performance. The Rovers board really need to act and act now.
