Carayol Seals Middlesbrough Move

Bristol Rovers midfielder Mustapha Carayol has agreed to join Championship side Middlesbrough.

All that stands in the way of the deal going through is the medical. The 22 year old only has one year left to run on his current contract with Rovers and has made it clear he would fancy a move to a higher club. Carayol only joined Rovers last summer in a deal believed to be around £30,000, Rovers will have to pay Lincoln City a percentage of any fee they receive from MiddesBrough. The deal is expected to include add ons depending on appearances etc.

Carayol made 28 starts for Rovers and scored 6 goals, he also made 7 appearances from the bench. When Carayol moves to Middlesbrough it will be his seven club including loan deals in five years.
