Chris Carruthers has joined Oxford United after he was released by gas at the end of last season.
Oxford Manager, Darren Patterson had this to say to their official website
‘Chris is another great pro who has bags of experience considering his age. Like Joe Burnell he has chosen us over a number of league clubs and we are really excited to have him join.’

Good luck to him, will be one of the better players there and Oxford should run away with the league this year so won’t be out of league football for too long.
i agree actually they have to be favourites to go up.

Couldn’t believe my eyes when i read this, totally flabbergasted really, i guess he will be adored by the Oxford fans, i just thought he would go to a league two club. Perhaps Oxford were the only team interested in him. They seem to be collecting our reserve side up don’t they Ashton. I might consider buying my brother a ST now
